Road Trip to Vegas

December 22, 2014

I do a lot of traveling. Last weekend I was on the road to Vegas to watch my mom say, “I do” for the second time before the king himself, Elvis Presley. For as long as I can remember I have been traveling and i have been treating the journey to and from destinations as a race. I spend hours driving, only stopping when I am forced to (gas food and bathroom) then quickly getting back on the road to get to where I am going as quick as possible. (Read More)

Wedding Craze!

December 9, 2014

Near the beginning of the year I had three of my good friends all tell me they were going to be getting married. I was excited for all of them because they are all great guys and they had met some incredible women. As they started to send me the invites and save the dates I noticed that all three weddings were three weeks in a row. On top of that they were in three different destinations. (Read More)

Trip To Boston

August 1, 2014

So again it has taken to long to get these images out,  but I have the pleasure of going to my Brother's wedding in Boston over the Memorial Weekend. It was a great trip and I got to see a lot of the family that I have not been able to see in long time. Before the weekend started I told myself and just about everyone else there that I would not take pictures of the ceremony. They had gotten a Wedding Photographer I was going to do my best to stay out of their way and allow them work. It wasn't until after the morning after the incredible ceremony and reception that I took the camera out for a test spin of the city. Doing so I did capture just a few family images while people were still around.

Washington DC Memorial Walk

July 4, 2014

I was in Virginia for work and had an opportunity to sneak up to the nations capitol before memorial day to try and capture some shoots of the memorials. Fighting the Friday afternoon traffic I got to the hotel checked and and prepped my gear. I only had that night to go out and shoot as the rest of the time would be spent with friends. By the time I was ready to go it was 1030 and I caught the metro from Roslyn to the National Mall stop on the Orange and blue lines. I was hoping because of the late hour there would be few people at the memorials. Well I was partly right.  (Read More)

So I was feeling a little inspired to use some Photoshop actions (created by Emily Soto that you can get from that I had gotten when I attended the Creative live course in Las Vegas. "Modern Women's Portraiture"

March 10, 2014

There are events in our lives that will affect us in significant ways and can affect our future choices or courses. I was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in a Creative live course on “Modern Women’s Portraiture” in Las Vegas. Having watched Creative live courses avidly over the last two and half years I have a massed a rather large library of informative courses. This event featured three of the professionals (Sue Bryce, Lara Jade and Lou Freeman) (Read More)

The platform is pretty in genius and is the product of its creators Chase Jarvis and Craig Swanson. (Read more)

My First Camera Experience

February 17, 2014

One of my earliest childhood memories was waking up early on a weekend morning in Las Vegas. I know it was a weekend because my dad was home from his routine weeklong trips for work that brought him back to Vegas on Friday for the weekend only to fly out again Monday morning. My parents were in their room, probably doing what parents do, while I crept around the living room finding things to move from one spot to another making it impossible for them to find anything. I remember looking up in the kitchen and seeing their Camera (a Canon AE-1 Program). (Read More)
